About Me
I have worked for the Refugee Service's Child and Family team in Wellington. I have over 15 years’ experience working in Porirua (Wellington) and Christchurch for the Ministry of Education, Special Education in their Early Intervention and School aged teams. This involved working with children with behavioural, social, developmental, medical and emotional difficulties. I now work privately providing a range of assessments and interventions for children aged 0-10 years old and their families.

- The Incredible Years Parenting programme.
- Triple P Positive Parenting Programme: Incredible Years and Triple P are parenting programme designed to reduce behavioural difficulties through helping parents to understand child development, play and positive behaviour management strategies.
- Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT): PCIT is primarily focused around the parent-child attachment relationship. It begins with developing a positive parent-child relationship through child-directed play and then looks at behavioural management strategies.
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy: This approach focuses on the link between behaviour, thoughts and emotions.
